Each island boasts its own charm, from secluded beaches to colorful fishing villages, where you can savor fresh seafood and local wines. The gentle sea breeze and the rhythmic sound of the waves create a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal getaway for both adventure seekers and those looking to unwind. Exploring these enchanting islands by sailing, allows you to connect with nature while discovering the rich history and traditions that make Sicily and the Aeolian Islands a true Mediterranean treasure.
ITINERARY
Saturday: VULCANO
WELCOME ABOARD! We will welcome you on your yacht at 1730, have a nice welcoming glass of bubbly and a snack and then we head off immediately for Vulcano, where we will be spending the night in an idyllic natural harbour. Perfect place for an introduction to the wonderful sailing around the Aeoli islands life, with a wonderful meal at a local restaurant in Porto di Levante.
Sunday: PANAREA
We wake up, have our nice breakfast, and head off explore the island. After, we cast off for Panarea; anchoring here is a serene experience, with Cala Junco being the spot, offering crystal-clear waters, dramatic rocky cliffs, near to the island’s chic, picturesque village. Enjoying a nice meal onboard, to embrace the beauty and the serenity of this amazing place.
Monday: STROMBOLI
Today, we wake up early and leave for Stromboli! Sailing here is a thrilling experience, with the active volcano's regular eruptions providing a dramatic backdrop, especially at night, when the "Sciara del Fuoco" lights up the sky as lava flows into the sea. We take our dinghy onshore to explore the island's charming village; and for the adventurous ones, the hiking trails up to the crater.
Tuesday: SALINA
Sailing from Stromboli to Salina is a delightful journey, with a refreshing swim stop at the stunning islet of Basiluzzo, where turquoise waters and secluded coves create an idyllic setting for a relaxing break. For the night, we head to Porto di Santa Marina Salina for a nice dinner at a local Trattoria! La vita e bella!!!
Wednesday: FILIKUDI
We start our journey to Filikudi in the morning. Behind our sails, you can enjoy the stunning vistas of the rugged coastline and the island's lush hills. A tranquil island known for its rugged beauty, pristine beaches, and ancient sites, offering a serene escape where you can explore the charming village, and enjoy the crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Thursday: LIPARI
We cast off in the morning for one of our favourite destinations ever. In Lipari, we dock at the marina, near the charming town centre. There, you can explore the impressive Castle of Lipari, stroll through the picturesque streets filled with shops and cafes and enjoy the local cuisine at any of the vibrant local restaurants… Bellissimo!!
Friday: CAPO D' ORLANDO
This is our last day sailing. We wake up in the morning for breakfast and a short swim and then we head off to another anchorage for some more swimming and chilling until lunch. We head back before sunset, where we will spend our last night onboard.
Saturday: CAPO D' ORLANDO
Time to say goodbye... Check out at 0900. Yes, this is the hardest part of the trip; for all of us. We may say goodbye to this magnificent land, yet the memories from this experience, would live with us forever. With one last promise...
